For Advisors

The statement SkillsUSA Champions at Work – Our Time is Now really embodies the work each of you do on a daily basis with your students. It is my hope that this year SkillsUSA Maine becomes more than just a competition for you and your students, that we also provide you with classroom support and curriculum to help enforce the workplace and personal skills your students need.

To help your students the SkillsUSA Framework was created for you to use in your classroom. This framework helps you convey the importance of what they gain in the areas of Personal Skills, Workplace Skill, and Technical Skills Grounded in Academics.

Because of your dedication and unending efforts, along with the addition and updates to the available curriculum, the Board of Directors and the State Staff know you have the tools necessary to make your students the best Maine has to offer our workforce.

Thank you for all you do.
